KATIE ONSTAGE

Singing, acting, cabaret-ing, and more

BRING YOUR FULL SELF TO THE STAGE

Katie is is especially passionate about helping creatives of all kinds craft careers (and lives) that feel authentic, sustainable, and deeply fulfilling — and this extends to her work as a singer, actor, and artist. Her work onstage reflects her work offstage, and she aims to use her voice to help others find, use, and own theirs.

Katie got her start onstage playing the Cowardly Lion at age 10 (ask her about her Bert Lahr impression) and graduated from the Musical Theatre program at University of California, Irvine. Since then, she’s appeared on network TV, feature films, national commercials, as well as on stages both regionally and Off-Broadway. Her work around self-talk has been both directly and indirectly informed by her almost 30 years as a performer, and vice versa. Her worlds officially collided when she launched her debut book, WANT YOUR SELF, with a book launch cabaret at the acclaimed The Green Room 42 in NYC.

Some of her favorite credits include Regional/Off-Broadway: A Little Night Music (South Coast Rep), Grease (Avalon Casino), No Strings (Reprise! Los Angeles), Picture Perfect (York Theater), Sunday In The Park With George (Irvine Barclay Theater); TV/Film: Valentine’s Day, Dexter. She is also an experienced recording artist, recording both mindset and fitness-focused audio content for over a decade as a regular podcast guest, the host of her own podcast the WANTcast, as a lead trainer on the award-winning audio fitness app Aaptiv, and narrating the audiobook for WANT YOUR SELF.

Katie is an artistic multi-hyphenate, proudly considers herself a musical theatre “double threat” (bring on the singing and acting!), loves defying expectations, and hopes to encourage all kinds of artists to embrace exactly who they are so that they can become who they’ve always been meant to be.
