SELF-TALK SESSIONS
signature keynotes + workshops
Katie's ease, humor, and inclusive nature combined with her willingness to dive deep, get honest and lead by example makes her a sought-after speaker at conferences, team-building events, and more. She's spoken at large-scale events (like SXSW and the University Of New Hampshire Women's Leadership Conference) and more intimate settings (like in-house corporate team-building events and local yoga studios). She's worked with huge brands like Lululemon and small mom-and-pops with a whole lot of soul. She's bonded with sixth graders, twenty-six year olds, and women well into their seventies.
But no matter the subject and no matter the size, the message is always the same: it's about time we stepped up and owned our power from the inside out.

Make Shift Happen: How To Shift Your Negative Self-Talk
Self-talk isn’t inherently good or bad - it’s information. In Katie’s signature self-talk keynote and workshop, you’ll build self-confidence by learning how to FIND, BE, and STAY yourself no matter what life throws at you. We dive deep into inherited belief systems and patterns, ways to shift your language internally, how to practice that new language externally, and how to navigate the situations in which negative self-talk is most likely to show up (think: moments of self-doubt, fear, comparison, and more). This workshop/keynote will help attendees build self-confidence, identify their self-worth, navigate personal roadblocks, and ultimately, unearth the strength in who they were all along.
Hear Me Out: How To Communicate With Confidence
Communication is a two-way street: it’s not only about what you say, it’s about what other people hear. And what we hear isn’t always about the words actually used. Join Katie for an interactive discussion about what it means to powerfully communicate (and be heard) in a world that expects otherwise. Learn about the huge (and widely ignored) thing holding women back from communicating effectively both personally and professionally, how to tap into it no matter how you’re feeling inside, plus specific and individualized tips, tools, and strategies to help yourself be heard — because we know that one size very rarely fits all.
Ride The Wave: How To Harness Your Mindset No Matter How You Feel
Positive affirmations are amazing — but way too often, they don’t work the way we hope they will when we’re feeling low and need them most. This keynote/workshop is about building your confidence back up, harnessing your mindset, and shifting your self-talk no matter what life throws your way. Learn how to meet yourself where you're at (instead of where you wish you COULD be), be kinder to yourself, and set yourself up for success no matter what life throws your way.
Self-Care Isn’t Selfish: How To Nurture Yourself In Ways That Make A Difference
Dive into what self-care actually means (and what it’s not) in this keynote/workshop. Learn strategies and solutions to manage your mindset, recharge your internal batteries, and truly take care of yourself (especially if you’re always taking care of others). Address burnout and mental/emotional fatigue, and walk away with tools that will serve you for a lifetime.
Embodying True Leadership In The Workplace and Beyond
This keynote/workshop will help you build self-confidence, identify your self-worth, navigate roadblocks, and embody true leadership both personally and professionally. Walk away with tools to deeply root yourself in purpose & passion, to combat self-doubt, to challenge imposter syndrome, to navigate your way through overwhelm, and to enter high-stakes situations with groundedness and confidence.
(Work-Life) Balancing Act: How To Create Sustainable Structure That Works For You
When COVID-19 hit, many of us realized that maybe the systems we’d been subscribing to for so long weren’t actually the systems that helped us thrive in work and in life. Now, we have an opportunity reimagine the ways we do what we do — but how do you start from scratch when life keeps knocking at your door? This workshop will help participants identify their unique strengths, manage their priorities, and create real-world solutions that work for them. Walk away with practical strategies on how to create sustainable structure and maximize your energy, as well as exercises to help you combat the self-doubt and negative self-talk that can come along with chasing that ever-elusive “work-life balance.”
Body Talk: A Body Image + Self-Talk Workshop
The words we say to ourselves, about ourselves, are powerful. Self-talk and body image are intricately woven together: what we feel, think, and say about the skin we’re in can dictate how we walk through the world, for better or worse. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to develop a healthy and positive relationship with the skin you’re in. Through a combination of movement* and mindful discussion, Katie will guide you through a series of physical and written exercises to rework your limiting beliefs, shift your self-talk, boost your body confidence, and believe in your self-worth.
*movement style to be determined by event host based on specific needs and desires of the group. workout and non-workout options available.
Building, Living, and Loving Your Brand
In this workshop, you’ll learn about creating a "legacy" brand that is trend-proof - and how to stay true to yourself and your mission when it feels like the world (and the internet!) wants you to be something different every two seconds. This workshop is perfect for creatives, solopreneurs, multi-passionate people (who are sick of hearing “you need to pick ONE thing”), and anyone who wants to explore what it means to build something with meaning that lasts.
A New Sisterhood
Women supporting women. Collaboration over competition. These aren’t just heart-warming – they’re trending. This is the age of female togetherness and collective empowerment. So why are we still tearing other women - and ourselves – down? In this session, learn why “Would you say that to a friend?” is half-baked advice when it comes to tackling your self-talk, how to really shift the script, and tangible action steps to truly practice the calls for “sisterhood” and “collaboration over competition” we so often preach.
